         In the opening scene of our film noir Money, Marija and I will challenge the typical stereotype of female representation.  Looking at the typical narrative of noir the male is the dominant character in the movie, while the female character is less important compared to the males.

that would look incapable of most things, but when it actually comes to running her own bar she's the boss at it.
Our film is set in the early 1950's New-York. The time square's best bar. It's mysterious and private, people know nothing about the owners which pulls their interest into visitation. Juliet Kingsman runs keeps the club going by holding her personal life private.
She has a loving husband, but no children. John Kingsman is a lawyer, he's the one who coming home earlier and takes the role of the 'housewife'. They love each other but as every as every couple they do come across problems.

        The movie opens with a problem occurring in the bar. A big, buff man is stirring up madness and shouting at an employee. He demands to see the boss right away. Juliet Kingsman enters the argument insuring the man that she is sorry about the inconvenience and she will resolve the problem right away.

The scene jumps to John Kingsman locking up his office and getting into his car. There's a tracking shot of the car. When he arrives at the destination he enters the house and starts doing chores and preparing food. Later on we see Juliet entering the house looking very tired, and the husband coming to greet her. They sit down and start having food, when unexpectedly the phone rings. John goes to pick it up and he shouts Juliet to come. She picks the phone and hears a voice of employee on the other side saying 'miss Kingsman please come down to the bar. It's urgent'.
